Cochrane Family Farm
Cochrane Family Farm has been in operation since 2009 and is a Certified Organic, family owned and operated 30-acre farm with a country store on the farm. We produce and sell local, organic products aimed at offering a wide variety of high-quality, nutrient dense vegetables, herbs and seeds following a permaculture methodology. We view ourselves as partners with our customers, our employees, our larger community and most importantly our environment. We aim to become your destination for not only the highest quality food – we intend to educate and empower our clients to have the desire and ability to make better, healthier, more sustainable food choices.We don’t use any chemicals in our farming practices, no pesticides, herbicides, chemical cleaning agents or growth accelerators.
We will be offering several guided tours throughout the day taking in our gardens, greenhouses, clasroom and seeding building. We will be talking about the crops we grow for our tier 2 products, our seed sales and for fresh harvest and what our daily activities for the staff and us look like on the farm throughout the year. Family and staff will be on hand to answer questions. There will be areas set up under canopies for picnic lunches, people to rest, etc. Some static displays will be set up. Just Us Coffee and our herbal tea will be available for free.
Farm store will be open with our organic certified products, including our fresh produce, heirloom seeds, herbal teas, and culinary spice blends as well many other products from local farms and small businesses.
