Floreren Farm

At Floreren Farm, we grow herbs, like Chamomile, Calendula, Meadowsweet, and more, as well as nursery nut trees and fruit trees like Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Hickories, Chestnuts, Elderberries, and others in the sweet earth of Centrelea, Nova Scotia / unceded Mi'kma'ki. ilana and Paul are first generation farmers who practice agroecological practices on a small scale farm and sell directly to businesses and individuals in our local communities and across Northern Turtle Island / Canada. In addition to working for a dignified livelihood, we strive to increase the biodiversity on the land, and join social movements to grow food sovereignty.

Full farm tours will start at 3pm, and 5pm. Meet by the table on the lawn for the tours to start. If you see a tour walking along, you are welcome to join in.

During your visit you can expect:
- Hand tools display.
- Scratch and sniff of many types of herbs.
- Walking tour of the farm's tree nursery, veggie beds, pond (supported by NSDA grants), herb gardens and greenhouse.
- Talk about the windbreaks and tree planting.
